Surfside overlooks the ocean and what a view it is. The elevated dining room and bar give you an unobstructed view of exactly what you want to see when you dine in Montauk – the Atlantic. It’s not just the view that makes being at the Surfside so spectacular, it’s the down to earth, cozy atmosphere that makes it so perfect.

That homey feel is matched by food that is neither fancy nor sheik but, did I mention, some of the best around?

Start with some clam chowder, mussels, clams on the half shell or baby back ribs. For your entree, Surfside does seafood pastas like no one else. Try the penne with sun dried tomato and shrimp! Other great dishes include a delicious New York Shell Steak or the Seafood Fra Diavlo. The truth is, there are so many great dishes on the menu, and I can’t name them all.

The one piece of advice I can give is, save room for dessert. You must try the Tequila Key Lime pie or the homemade cheesecake.

Surfside is one place you have to go while you are in Montauk and, if you don’t make it there for breakfast, lunch or dinner, at least stop in for a drink and a round of darts with the locals.
